Water Safety Center
The Mohave County Sheriff Boating Safety Office, Training Class Room, Heliport, Impound Storage Area and Marina are maintained at this facility. There is ample parking for visitors in the front of this facility. The rear of the facility is a restricted area and contains the Heliport, Operations Room, Impound Storage Area, and Marina.
The MCS-BSO has recently expanded it base of operations to Meadview, AZ and establishes Mohave County Sheriff’s presence on Lake Mead. Meadview is a Colorado River Recreational Area with close proximity to the Lake Mead Waterway and provides easy access to the lake for Patrol Operations and Emergencies. Meadview Residents are already volunteering and being trained for participation in the Boating Safety Program.
