Local Weather - Station located at the Mohave College
The National Weather Service/Las Vegas has put into operation a Weather Station, frequency 162.400, (Marine Radio Channel 2) to support the Lake Havasu Area. This station runs 24 hrs around the clock with weather reports as well as weather advisories (alerts). The Station is located close to the Lake Havasu Airport, so reception in the Lake Havasu Area is exceptional.
Cell Phone - Call Mohave County Dispatch 453-0700 to report lake emergencies.
Utilize Marine Channels 16 & 20, frequency 158.600 & 161.600 respectively, for emergency services. Channel 2 & 16 for Lake Weather Adviseries.
