Note: When boating on Lake Havasu, monitor your radio and keep current on weather conditions. During the months of June through September, Lake Havasu is subject to Monsoon Weather, that can produce Severe Weather Conditions. Be alert as the conditions can change very rapidly. When being notified of an impending storm, it is normally prudent to locate a protected area and secure your vessel, until the storm passes.

When renting watercraft be sure to check the services your renter provides. Some renters have chase boats, some do not. Some renters provide after hours service, others do not. If your renter does not provide you with 24 hr. service, then you need to check and determine, if you have an emergerncy, what agency you will use and record their contact information.

Lake Havasu City has several commerical businesses that provide 24 towing and salvage services and monitor Marine Channel 16 & 20 on a 24hr schedule. Their contact numbers also are listed in the Phone Book.

Note: When renting a watercraft, if you are not familar with the area boating rules and regulations ask your renter to provide you the information before leaving his area.
