A – No, Access to Blankenship Bend will be restricted. This area is buoyed off with closure markers that are strictly enforced for Memorial Day, Independence Day & Labor Day Weekends.
Q - Is Steamboat Cove open to recreational boaters on the Holiday Weekends?
A - Yes, However it is buoyed to allow an open lane of travel through the cove allowing adequate public safety and rescue measures.

Q - Watercraft Impounds - Where do I pick up my boat if it is impounded?
A - You need to check with the impounding Agency.
Q - If for some reason one of our friends or loved ones are arrested where can we contact them.

Q- Who do I contact to obtain a Lake Event Permit.
1 - For Lake Events call the U.S. Coast Guard San Diego (619) 683-6314 or check their web site http://homeport.uscg.mil/mycg/portal/ep/home.do for guidance
2 – If the event is to be held in the Bridgewater Channel contact the Lake Havasu City Clerk (928) 453-4142 as well as the U.S. Coast Guard
Q – Are there boating restrictions on the river?
A-Yes, U.S Fish & Game has established several new (2006) restrictions on the river.
1 - A new “no wake zone” has been established at Devils Elbow Area.
2 - Topock Gorge, the backwater area between the south buoy line at the entrance to the river and Castle Rock is now a “no wake and no personal watercraft (PWC) zone”
3 - Water-skiing is also prohibited along the entire stretch of the Colorado River from the North End of Lake Havasu to the I-40 Bridge
