Boating Safety Office
Havasu BSO Monthly meetings are scheduled for the first Thursday of every month except for December & January. They are held at the Contact Point, Water Safety Center @ 6 p.m. Notes from the BSO Meeting are e-mailed to the Membership. Those without internet capability can pick up the information at the meetings or will find the e-mail posted at the Contact Point, Water Safety Center, Operations Room.
For finger printing or photo, contact the Sub Station 453 - 0745.
Those interested and have the time to devote to the Mohave County Sheriff Volunteer Boating Safety Program copy & complete the application provided in the Boating Safety Officer Information Index and take it to The Mohave County Sheriff Sub-Station, 3500 N. Hwy 95, Lake Havasu City.

Uniforms: When funding permits, your initial Summer Uniform (1 set), Shorts, Shirt & Cap are provided to New Members only. When replacements or additional sets are needed, they can be purchased at Career Styles Etc, The uniform Shop @ 1761 McCulloch Blvd. 855-0871.
Boating Safety Officers that need "Boat Handling Training & Experience" to be come Certified Coxswains need to contact other Certified Coxswains and schedule their own training sessions. Patrol Boats are available to support these operations.

If you are Certified and want to go out with a deputy check with the Officer in charge and he will schedule you if conditions are favorable.
Your Squad Leader will schedule you according to your availablitiy for Week End & Special Boat Patrol assignments. This data is documented via e-mail.
