There will be no Monthly BSO Meetings for December and January.

Fall Season Schedule:
There will be no routine Patrols.
Veterans Day Parade: Deputies will handle.
We will assign 2 Patrol Boats for the Christmas Boat Parade of Lights scheduled for Friday & Saturday, December 5 & 6 respectively. Several BSO have already volunteered for the Christmas Boat parade of Lights duty.

Off Season Training –
Sgt. Schuster authorized us to proceed with two training exercises we had planned that should help sharpen our skills.
....One is a GPS type Poker Run.
....The second is a Night Navigation run to Havasu Springs and Back.

We will be getting a 38’ Packman, Munson Boat for our fleet.

Our Pontoon 8356 Multi-purpose boat will be refurbished and will be in “Full” Service Operation for the 2009 season.

Boat and Dock Maintenance – Schedule is the 3rd Saturday of the Month @ 0800. We will continue with this program. Most of the Boats will be in dry dock but we have a few things that need attention and will accomplish in the off season.

Water Safety Education Program –
Our Water Safety Education “STUFF” has arrived and will be available for next Season Fairs and Classes. We will focus on Lake Havasu School District 2nd grade classes.

The Boating Safety Van has been serviced and is in good condition. We will get a hitch added for trailering a boat and it will be detailed with emblem, etc.

ID Cards expire December 31, 2008:
We will need new photos & new cards will be issued shortly thereafter

If we want to have BSO Christmas Party, the Sgt. said do it.
